Welcome to the AAP Trainee Webpage.

The AAP Trainee Committee was created to support trainees and “trainees-at-heart” on their path to a rich and rewarding career in academic psychiatry. Our mission is to provide individuals at all levels – be they medical students interested in psychiatry, psychiatric residents, applying for their first job, or established psychiatrists considering a career in academia – with the resources and mentorship needed to fulfill their personal and professional goals.
